In September 2019, American Leprosy Missions hosted the first ever NTD Innovation Prize at the NTD NGO Network conference in Liverpool, England. We realized implementing the prize was innovative in and of itself; it was something that had been done in other sectors, but not specifically in NTDs where we felt it could add significant value. Our team learned a lot through this process, with a few lessons standing out.
